Should I create a vision board every year?

Should I create a vision board every year?

Yes!

As shared by Seneca, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”  Creating an annual vision board allows us the opportunity to reflect on our lives and recreate our story. As your life and aspirations change, it’s critical to keep your new goals in view with benchmarks in place.

Getting Started

long road with words start at the beginning

As you look at last year’s vision board take a few minutes to reflect on:

What am I most proud of over the past twelve months?
What thing or people brought me happiness and joy this past year?
What goals did I accomplish?
How did meeting those goals make me feel?
What went well?
What didn’t go well?
Who did spIend the most time with?
Who do I wish I would have invested more time in?
What would I do differently?

Enjoy your successes and embrace with confidence and excitement the next steps of your journey!

Consider holding on to  your vision boards year over year; each one represents a chapter of your life story and can serve as a positive reminder, especially during difficult times, that you CAN  and WILL continue to Live Your Dream.

You did it!  Your new vision board is beautiful and you are inspired, excited, and ready to conquer your destiny.  It looks great hanging on your wall so be sure to interact with your vision board daily and it will fuel your mind and soul.

By revisiting your goals and actions steps you’ll train your mind to stay focused on the things you want and why you want them.  By setting your goals, displaying them on your vision board ,and keeping them front and center you’ll be in control of your mindset by viewing your life as one full picture.  Each key focus flows into the next and this is you’ll find the momentum needed to cross the finish line.

  1. Building a Vision Board • What is the Process? • Live Your Dream Board

[…] This is likely the hardest part of the vision board process. Take a couple minutes every month to reflect on your progress. Set a reminder on your calendar. If you get off track don’t fret! We all have stressful times where we can get distracted and off-track. Simply re-visit your vision board and reignite your efforts. As you begin to reach your goals you may want to cross them off or star them to keep you motivated. Accountability is a key part in the vision board process. Setting these reminders and staying on track will bring you that much closer to success. […]
